Halloween costume contest
for the best dressed hedgehogs. Ribbons will be awarded for Creepist,
Most Humorous, Best, Coolest, Scariest, and most original. In addition,
owners and fans are encouraged to show spirit by dressing to support
their favorite hedgehog (Peewee's staff and Team Harliquin showed
plenty of spirit and energy at out last show).
If you attended
our May show, you will notice some new and different ribbons, as well
as trophies for Best of Group (Jr. Male, Jr. Female, Adult Male, and
Adult Female) and Best of show (
Male and Female).
4th place ribbons have been added in the color classes to increase
everyone's chances of getting a ribbon. Kids class will have trophies
for places 1st through 4th and ribbons for all other participants, and
the Hedgehog Games will be giving out tiny trophies in addition to flat
ribbons.
Register before Oct 20th the get our discounted
pre-registration prices (all payments must be received by the 20th). No
refunds or substations will be allowed once you register.
We
hope to see you at Hedgehog Fest and we hope you will participate in
the events. We all had a blast at our last show in May. It is easy to
show a hedgehog and participate in the games, so don't be shy (and we
are more then glad to help you if this is your first show). You may
also come to the show to spectate and learn, and we encourage you to
bring friends and family members. There will be a small entry fee at
the door (to be set by our host school).
***** Due to limited
space, we ask that you please bring your hedgehog in the smallest
carrier possible. Also, because hedgehogs feel more comfortable in a
dark confined space, we feel that this will help your hedgehog to relax
resulting in a happier hedgehog at the show table. Anyone arriving with
a full cage set-up will be asked to leave it in the car.
See you there
